Role Description
As a Business Development Manager, specializing in carbon credits, you will be responsible for driving revenue growth by identifying and securing new business opportunities.
Leveraging your deep understanding of the carbon credit industry you will establish and nurture relationships with key stakeholders.
Your role involves formulating and executing strategic market entry plans, meeting and exceeding sales targets, and collaborating with cross-functional teams.
Fluent in Dutch and English, you will effectively communicate the value proposition of carbon credits, ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulations.
Your analytical skills will be crucial for interpreting carbon emissions data and delivering insightful reports to clients. The position requires adaptability to dynamic market conditions and a commitment to staying abreast of industry trends.
Qualifications

Industry Experience:
- Proven experience in the environmental and carbon credit market.
- Familiarity with the regulatory landscape regarding carbon emissions and sustainability.
Market Knowledge:
- Knowledge of competitors and potential partners in the carbon credit space.
Sales and Negotiation Skills:
- Strong sales track record, demonstrating the ability to meet and exceed targets.
- Proven negotiation skills to secure favorable deals with clients and partners.
Relationship Building:
- Ability to build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including businesses, government agencies, and environmental organizations.
Communication Skills:
- Fluent in Dutch and English.
- Excellent communication skills to articulate the value proposition of carbon credits and build persuasive pitches.
Strategic Thinking:
- Strategic mindset with the ability to identify new business opportunities and develop effective market entry strategies.
Regulatory Compliance:
- Knowledge of carbon credit standards and protocols, as well as the ability to ensure compliance with relevant regulations.
Data Analysis and Reporting:
- Proficiency in analyzing carbon emissions data and providing clients with clear and insightful reports on their carbon reduction efforts.
Team Collaboration:
- Ability to collaborate with internal teams, such as marketing and product development, to ensure a cohesive approach to market expansion.
Adaptability:
- Flexibility to adapt to changes in the market or regulatory environment.
- Willingness to continuously learn and stay updated on industry trends and best practices.
You must have a visa to work and live in the Netherlands.
